Shipping update 12/22
over 2 years ago – Wed, Dec 22, 2021 at 07:26:29 AM

This is likely the last shipping update of the year. As of today, there are still 10 orders outstanding (not shipped) and 2 backers who have yet to finish their survey. Honestly, I'm not going to worry about those two until all the other orders are out.

I have two packages to Australia that are on hold. If you are from the land down under, please check your email for an update on your packages.

To the remaining backers, I'm going to do my best to get them out as soon as I can. COVID took me out of the workshop for 10 days and even now I'm only able to work half days before I'm blown. Holidays next week will slow me down some more, but I still hope to have this closed soon. I apologize for not getting everything out before Christmas, but you should be receiving your rewards soon.

I hope everyone has a great holiday season. Thank you very much for backing this project.

Final Shipment
over 2 years ago – Wed, Aug 04, 2021 at 09:07:20 AM

I am happy to announce that today the final shipment will go out. This concludes the Luxury Dungeon Tile project. I want to thank everyone who participated and I hope you enjoy these dungeon tiles and can make use of them in live games very soon.

I will be at a few conventions this fall including Gen Con in September, Origins in October, Indiana Comic Con Oct. 15-17 and Gamehole Oct. 21-24. If you happen to be at any of these cons, come stop by my booth and say hi!

My next KS project will launch in early September, so keep an eye out for that. I've been working with a graphic designer so I can include some outstanding artwork and inlays on a new line of products. I'll release more details as we get closer to the launch.

Thanks again, and keep on gaming!

Status update 7/14/21
almost 3 years ago – Wed, Jul 14, 2021 at 07:45:25 AM

I have a shipment ready to go out today which will take the outstanding number of orders down to 6. Of these remaining 6, four are waiting for Dungeon Dressings from Cosmo Joe. I talked to him today and hope to have these in early next week. The last two are made up of a credit card that didn't clear and a backer who paid but did not respond to the survey.  If you think you might be one of these, please check your email for several (desperate) attempts at contacting you to correct these issues. Reminders were sent through Backerkit, but it should be linked to my email address: [email protected].

Tracking numbers for all shipped orders can be found in Backerkit. I added them to the notes for each backer, so if you want an update, please check there first. If you can't find the tracking number there, feel free to email me (but, please, check backerkit first).

Hope to have this 100% closed next week. Thank you for your support.

Status Report: 7/1/21
almost 3 years ago – Thu, Jul 01, 2021 at 10:14:52 AM

So, it has been a little while since I gave an update.  I had my surgery about 3 weeks ago and spent a few days in the hospital in recovery. This was the first time I've ever had a majorish surgery. Lets just say that I hope it is my last as well.  Coming out of anesthesia was not a pleasant experience. Having certain tubes removed a couple days later was possibly even worse (the less said here the better). Long story short, I didn't get anything done the week after surgery and the week after that, I only worked a few hours a day. I'd say I'm pretty much back to normal now, though.

Right now, I have about 25% of the pledges 100% finished, with the other 75% at least 75% finished. My assistant and I have been hitting these last things pretty hard lately, so I'm hopeful that by tomorrow, the vast majority will be ready to ship. However, I'm going to wait until next Wednesday before I actually ship anything out for the simple reason of keeping my bookkeeping as simple as possible. I want to have 2 ship  dates by which time EVERYTHING will be out. So, 1st ship out on the 7th. Second ship date (hopefully) the following week. I want to get these out to everyone asap.

For those who don't know, I'm currently running polls on my facebook page trying to find the best graphics for my next project. If you haven't looked recently, go to my FB page at www.facebook.com/hrothgarshoard  Every Wednesday and Saturday for the most recent images. Vote on your favorite. Winners will be featured on the project. Losers still have a chance of making it. I'm trying to do this as a double elimination tournament style, so keep checking back to see what images are in the running!

Thanks again to everyone for backing me. I really liked this project even if it didn't take off like I had hoped. I may revisit this in the future to add additional wall types/builds, so if you have more ideas, keep them coming. There is a lot that can be done still  with this project.

May 21 update. Please read.
almost 3 years ago – Fri, May 21, 2021 at 07:18:14 AM

Hello everyone. I've been waiting to make a post until most of the surveys were in, but there is enough info out there for me to give you a much needed update.

First up: 71% of the surveys have been completed, which is good, but I was honestly expecting more. I know I told you that there was no immediate rush to get those in, but we are now at the point where I need to get some final counts done and those of you who have not done your surveys may end up in a situation where your pledges don't get fulfilled until a few months after everyone else has gotten their rewards (more on this in a second).

Second: for the pledges that have been received, I should be on track to getting most of those out in June. I've dropped all other projects and have a solid 2 weeks to get this done before a change in my life will potentially slow things down.

Third: Here's the potential delay issue. On June 8, I'm scheduled for a non-minor surgery. This is nothing life-threatening, so you don't need to worry about me suddenly being gone, but it does have a potentially lengthy recovery time. At best, I'll probably be out for 2 weeks, but it is not uncommon for recovery time to be in the months.  Therefore, I'll be putting in extra time to get as much done as possible before the surgery.

If you have not yet completed your survey, please do so. If you don't think you've received a link for it, please do a search for "backerkit" in your email. Also check your spam filter.

I'll post another update prior to the 8th.

Until then,

John
